MDAC Tool
Web-based data entry and analysis tool
This is web based data entry and analysis application corresponding to the MDAC (previously MAPEDIR) tool: ‘Maternal verbal autopsy questionnaire for suspected maternal deaths”, version II (10 sections), and analysis framework consisting of core and supplementary indicators.
The tools will enable analysis using the ‘three delay model’. The first delay is the delay in deciding to seek care for an obstetric emergency, the second delay is delay in reaching the appropriate facility and the third delay is delay in receiving adequate care when a facility is reached. MDAC tool identifies information and underlying factors related to the first and second delays and to some extent, delay three.
Access to this tool is restricted members in the project organization. The web based application consists of following modules. Only one module can be accessed at a time by the user.
